Margaret Nelson
ASID Allied Member
ASID Maryland Past President

For more than 10 years, Margaret's passion for design has only been matched by her singular dedication to helping her clients vision come true. As an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), she is highly sought after for her expertise and dedication to details in both residential and commercial settings.

With a design philosophy best summed up as luxurious but inviting, marked by a sophisticated color palette, sumptuous but practical fabrics and classic furnishings. She takes pride in melding the old with the new and has a knack for seamlessly integrating precious antiques with treasured mementos or even flea market finds. Margaret makes it a priority to reflect the very best of each client by creating personal spaces that are casually elegant, yet entirely functional for todays busy lifestyles. Her ultimate goal is ensure your space is reflective of you and the life you live.

A lover of classical architecture and an artistic eye honed through her forays as a painter and photographer serve as the foundation from which she draws much of her inspiration.  Her technical expertise and management skills, acquired from her prior 25 year career as a Project Manager for a major Fortune 50 IT company, provides her clients with the assurance that she can guide them through even the most challenging renovations at their home or office. But she finds it just as satisfying to guide a do-it-yourself-er through an afternoon of color selection or space planning.

Margaret holds a Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Administration and Interior Design; and has additionally  completed extensive post graduate coursework in design and management.
